Switching to annual - pay 10 get 12.
Annual plans cost the same per month, billed once. Two months free if you stay the year.
How annual works
Pay for 10 months upfront, get 12 months of service. Same monthly SMS cap, same features, paid once.
Pricing
All prices AUD, inclusive of GST.
| Plan | Monthly equivalent | Annual price (one payment) | Saving |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base | $54 | $540 | $108 (16.67%) |
| Build | $84 | $840 | $168 (16.67%) |
| Boost | $124 | $1,240 | $248 (16.67%) |
How to switch
Dashboard, Settings, Plan, Switch to annual. Confirm. The annual charge goes on your card immediately, and your existing monthly subscription is cancelled.
Note. If you're partway through a monthly cycle, we credit the unused days against the annual charge. So if you've paid for 20 days of monthly Base, you'll see a $36 credit applied to your $540 annual invoice.
When does the year run from
From the day you switch. If you switch on 14 May, your renewal is 14 May next year.
SMS caps on annual
Same monthly caps as monthly plans. Annual doesn't give you an annual SMS pool, it's still 150 / 300 / 500 per month, resetting on your billing day each month.
What if I want to cancel mid-year
You can cancel any time. Service runs to the end of the year you've paid for, then doesn't renew. We don't refund unused months on annual, that's the trade-off for the discount.
What if I want to upgrade tiers mid-year
Possible. We pro-rate the upgrade cost over the remaining annual term. You can either pay the difference now or have it added to next year's renewal.
Should you switch
If you've been on TapText for more than 2 months and you're using it weekly, the maths is straightforward. You're paying 12 months anyway, switch to annual and save the equivalent of 2 months.
If you're still in the first month deciding whether TapText fits, stay on monthly. The 16.67% saving isn't worth locking in early.
